What are the Sunday service times at Bundaberg Baptist Church?
Bundaberg Baptist Church holds two Sunday services every week:
• 9am – Our morning service, featuring a mix of traditional and contemporary worship, kids programs during the school term, and a morning tea afterwards.
• 6pm – Our evening service, featuring contemporary worship, has a more relaxed feel and is loved by many of our youth and young at heart. Before most evening services, we have a casual gathering called ‘Chips and Church’ from 5.30pm.
Both services are held at 14 Fitzgerald Street, Norville. What should I wear to a church service?
Come as you are! Casual clothing is perfectly fine, there is no dress code at Bundaberg Baptist Church.
What should I expect during a church service?
Our Sunday services feature contemporary worship music, a Bible-based sermon, and a welcoming community atmosphere. The 9am service’s worship has a slightly more traditional feel, while the 6pm service is more upbeat. First-time visitors are warmly encouraged to stay for morning tea after the morning service.
At Easter and Christmas we run special services in addition to our usual services.

We’d love to hear from you! You can call us on 07 4151 8222, email office@bundabergbaptist.org.au, or simply chat with any of our friendly greeters or pastors on a Sunday.
What is communion?
Communion (also called the Lord’s Supper) is a simple but meaningful practice we share together as a church. As believers, we eat a small piece of bread and drink a cup of juice as a way of remembering Jesus – his body broken and his blood shed for us. It’s a moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks. You’ll see us take communion together during some of our services. If you believe in Jesus, you are welcome to participate, but there is no pressure. If you are not a believer, it is more than ok to not participate, without any judgement.
What do kids do during the church service?
We love having families with us! During the 9am service (during school terms), primary & pre-school aged children are invited to Sunday School, while children under school age are welcome in Creche. During the 6pm service, kids generally stay in with the congregation. Some Sunday nights, the youth may leave to go join our Apologetics course that runs during the service.
